OFFSHORE TRANSPORTATION
The oil and gas industry is one of the biggest and most important revenue generators for the Malaysian economy, with a large number of oil and gas operations based along the Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah & Sarawak.
With so much offshore oil and gas activities, the need for a reliable aviation services provider is imperative. Weststar Aviation Services provides helicopter transportation of personnel to offshore production platforms and drilling rigs from our bases in Kota Bharu, Kerteh, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Kinabalu, Miri in Malaysia, Songkhla in Thailand and Jakarta and Balikpapan in Indonesia.

The AW139’s exceptional One Engine Inoperative (OEI) with its power reserve, assures Category “A” (Class 1) operations from a helipad (elevated or ground level), even at maximum take-off weight.
Excellent performance in extremely hot and high latitude environments or harsh conditions, making the AW139 one of the few helicopters certified with the highest safety specifications for oil and gas operations’ support.

The large spacious and bright cabin provides flexibility for the most sophisticated requirements.
